Westbound lane reduction on Ogilvie Road

Beginning Monday, February 9, westbound traffic on Ogilvie Road will be reduced to one lane at Jasmine Crescent. The lane reduction is required to facilitate installation of a new watermain and road renewal work. The lane reduction will be in effect until Friday, February 13.

Businesses will remain open as usual. OC Transpo buses will operate through this intersection as scheduled. Commuters are reminded to exercise caution around work areas.

This construction activity is part of the Orléans Watermain Link project. Once completed, the Orléans watermain link will improve the reliability of the water supply to the community and increase transmission capacity to accommodate future urban growth.

The Orléans Watermain Link West Project is an Ottawa on the Move project. Ottawa on the Move is about keeping our community and economy moving forward through strategic investments in a number of transportation, water, and sewer projects to build a better city and create jobs.
