VIDEO: Fiery crash near Kaladar kills two Ottawa residents

Two Ottawa residents are dead after a head-on collision between an SUV and a tractor trailer on Highway 7, about 140 kilometres southwest of Ottawa.

It happened just after 5 p.m. Sunday near Kaladar, Ont.

The driver of the SUV, Brian Ward, 70, and his passenger Mary Ward, 69, were killed.

A 59-year-old Ottawa man who drove the tractor trailer was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

A post-mortem was scheduled for Brian Ward Monday, a police news release said. _ ** Video by Adam Ramsden ** _
