Goose Island Beer Co. tap takeover at Darcy McGee’s – Friday @ 7:00 p.m.
Goose Island is excited to be bringing more beer varieties than ever before. The brewers and educators from Goose Island are hosting a Tap Takeover at Darcy McGee’s on Friday August 12th at 7:00 p.m. Ottawa beer fans will have a chance to sample a variety of distinct and rare Goose Island beers that will be available on all taps for the night, including: Illinois Imperial IPA, Madame Rose and Four Star Pils.
Watson’s Mill craft beer tasting – Friday @ 7:00 p.m.
The Mill Tavern is proudly catering this years Craft Beer Tasting at the Watson’s Mill on August 12 from 7-10pm. Sample beers from more than 10 breweries located in the Ottawa area and vote for your favourite. Vote for your favourite beer, the winners will be put on tap at the Mill Tavern. Evening includes live Swing music, samples from up to 12 breweries, 3 sets of catering samples from Watson’s Mill’s very own cocktail servers. Additional drink tickets will be available!
Tickets are $40 and proceeds go towards supporting Watson’s Mill. Tickets are available at Watson’s Mill, the Office Pro in Manotick or simply come visit us and sign up.
Hopped and Confused – Friday & Saturday @ 5:00 p.m.
Mill Street and Indie Powerhouse Dine Alone Records are thrilled to announce the full lineup for the first edition of Hopped and Confused. The two-night event of delicious beer, killer music and gourmet food, is set to take place in our nation’s capital at Mill Street’s brewpub (555 Wellington St) on August 12 & 13. Canadian rock n rollers The Sheepdogs will headline the event on Friday August 12th.
