Traffic impacts at Sussex and King Edward intersection

On Monday, June 22, lanes will be reduced at the intersection of Sussex Drive and King Edward Avenue. These lanes will be closed around the clock for approximately three weeks (weather permitting).

The lane closures are required to allow the installation of concrete crosswalks at the intersection of King Edward Avenue and Sussex Drive.

Vehicles heading north to Gatineau will experience traffic disruptions. Motorists are advised to plan ahead.  Access for cyclists and pedestrians will be maintained at all times.

With all of the construction-related activities underway, residents are encouraged to be flexible with commuting times, stagger work hours or use alternative means for travel. The public is asked to consider options such as transit, walking, cycling or carpooling.
