Track Ontario’s power consumption


Tuesday’s forecast is calling for one of the hottest days of the summer, with a high of 35C. Ontario could also set a high for power usage. You can track Ontario’s power consumption on the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) web site.

Trivia: Ottawa’s hottest day on record was 37.8ºC, set on August 14, 1944.
More trivia: The record for the highest electricity demand in Ontario was set on July 13, 2005.
