On Canada Day, Wednesday, July 1, the Ottawa Senators development camp will travel up the Ottawa River as the club's prospects visit the Wilderness Tours Outdoor Adventure Centre in Beachburg, Ont. In the early afternoon, Senators players will be put through their paces by Wilderness Tours staff, taking part in whitewater paddling exercises. The players will then be available to meet and greet with the public, sign autographs and pose for pictures for 30 minutes beginning at approximately 7:15 p.m. The session with Wilderness Tours Outdoor Adventure Centre is aimed at developing teamwork and chemistry among the organization's prospects. There will be no admission fee to the event, but the public will be encouraged to make a contribution to the Canadian national freestyle kayaking team. The kayaking team will also be on hand as they prepare to participate in their upcoming world championships. The Wilderness Tours Outdoor Adventure Centre is located at 503 Rafting Road, Beachburg, Ont.
