From November 17 to 20, visit Rogers Television's interactive booth at the Ottawa Citizen FanFest at Lansdowne Park as we broadcast live - on location. Catch Rogers Television 22’s local programs to get the latest scoop on Grey Cup 2004 and what’s happening in the Capital:

 

Tuesday, November 16

Talk Ottawa at 9pm – The changing face of cheerleading with Melanie Reid, Sara Carroll and Danika Carkner from the Renegades’ Dance Team.

 

Wednesday, November 17

daytime at 11amHosts Derick Fage and Catherine Marion play around with the Kick It Krew, Renegades’ President Brad Watters kicks things off with Kickin’ It In the Capital details, Jon Dore from Canadian Idol fame stops by with his pigskin memories, plus find out how important volunteers are to the 92nd Annual Grey Cup.

 

Talk Ottawa at 9pm – Call in and talk to Ontario's only female quarterback Robyn Waite and Renfrew Collegiate Institute football coach Ed Oegama.

 

Thursday, November 18

daytime at 11am – Special guest Jim McAuley, an Ottawa sports historian, tells us about the most recent Ottawa Sports Hall of Fame Inductees and gives us a tour of Ottawa’s Football Tradition Exhibit at City Hall Gallery.  Crafty Kristen Johnston shows us how to make eye-catching foam hands, hats and more so you can get noticed at the game.  What size shirt does a 350-pound football player wear?  We find out this answer and more with Renegades’ equipment manager Greg Batty.

 

Renegades Vibe at 7pm – Join hosts Brad Watters and Arash Madani as they update you on the events and activities leading up to Grey Cup 2004.

 

Talk Ottawa at 9pm Host Catherine Clark and her guests fill you in on everything you want to know about football and more!

 

Friday, November 19

daytime at 11am – Learn what to feed the football watching troops with Lise Thibault Murphy, Renegades’ wide receiver Pat Woodcock talks about his recent United Way Community Builder Award, Renegades’ Director of Media Relations Arash Madani talks about Grey Cup weekend, and Mauler and Rush clown around at FanFest.

 

Ottawa Citizen Citydesk at 6pm – Host Ed Hand broadcasts his Week in Review panel from the Ottawa Citizen FanFest.  Panelists are Capital Ward Councillor Clive Doucet, former Ottawa Mayor Marion Dewar and former Ottawa MPP Garry Guzzo.

 

Ottawa Citizen Business TV at 6:30pm – Host Janet Eastman discusses the economic impact of the Grey Cup with Dick Brown, Executive Director of the Ottawa Gatineau Hoteliers Association, Gerry LePage, Executive Director of the Bank St. Business Improvement Area, and Meg McCallum, Executive Director of the Byward Market Business Improvement Area.

 

The Big Bad Sports Show at 8pm – This special two-hour Big Bad Sports Show broadcasts live from the Ottawa Citizen FanFest and features special guests Rogers Sportsnet’s Marty York and Ottawa Citizen’s sports journalist Matthew Sekeres.

 

Saturday, November 20

Celebrity Sports Dinner at 2pm & 6pm – The 7th Annual Celebrity Sports Dinner is emceed by former NHL great Dennis Hull and features CFL/NFL coaching legend Marv Levy.  The Celebrity Sports Dinner is a tape to broadcast from the Wednesday, November 17 event.
