Summary: Bring your camera, savor the blossoms and improve your understanding of your camera equipment as you join professional photographer Ray Pilon for an exciting photographic Safari through the world- renowned tulip beds in Commissioners Park in Ottawa, Ontario.
In this 3-hour Spring 2008 Ottawa Photo Safari, offered on several days during the festival, you will have the opportunity to photograph some of the 300,000 spectacular tulip blooms at their peak that grace this Park in Ottawa. The spring flowers that grace in lush abundance will be begging to be photographed. Under Ray’s guidance, you will learn to use your camera creatively so that you will have some classic tulip photographs to display upon your return home. Ray will provide instruction in the techniques of flower photography: composition, exposure issues, depth of field, macro photography, and proper white balance and color filtration.
