Parkdale Gallery Exhibition: Comic Book Chaos. December 8th 2007 to January 6th, 2008. Featured Artists: CSA, Dominic Bercier, James Robinson, KAN-J, Matthew Doddridge, Ronn Sutton, and Von Allan. As fits the Festive Season this event is a little naughty, a little nice. Welcome to a world with no boundaries: comic book characters, superheroes, lonely astronauts, and fantasy art. Works in the show include illustrations and acrylic on canvas originals. Graphic novels have, over the past number of years, developed a dedicated following. People have fallen in love with the medium's depth and range. This is your opportunity to purchase signed panels from Canadian graphic novelist Von Allan's new graphic novel The Road to God Knows and Ronn Sutton's Elvira original illustrations. When you are in the gallery don't forget to pick up a copy of the comic book, The Indomitable Three Bears, an Ottawa School of Art Outreach Program project. Your donations will be appreciated.
