TRAGICALLY HIP TO ROCK GREY CUP HALF-TIME SHOW

Canadian Football League (CFL) today announced that the “greatest band in the
land”,
The
critically acclaimed The Tragically Hip have been at the heart of the Canadian
music scene for two decades evoking an emotional connection between the artists,
their music and their fans that remains unrivaled in this country. The five-piece group of friends who grew

newest release, In Between Evolution, is the sixth Hip record to debut at
the #1 chart position, following fan favourites Day For Night (1994),
Trouble At The Henhouse (1996), Live Between Us (1997), Phantom
Power (1998) and Music @ Work (2000). During this year’s Grey Cup Halftime
Show, CFL fans will be on their feet in the stands and in front of their TV sets
for one of
Staging
of the Opening Ceremonies, the National Anthem and Halftime Show are being
produced by House of Blues Concerts Canada.
