The Ottawa Senators' year-long commitment to community outreach programs throughout the National Capital Region continues. The following is a look at the club's community schedule from Friday, Feb. 5, to Thursday, Feb. 11. Senators 65 Roses Sports Club Gala The Senators 65 Roses Sports Club, in partnership with the Ottawa Senators Hockey Club, are proud to host the 65 Roses Gala on Monday, Feb, 8, at 5:30 p.m. at the Hampton Inn Conference Centre (200 Coventry Road). This year's event will help mark the 50th anniversary of the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The gala will once again be hosted by Max Keeping, the 65 Roses Celebrity chair, and Senators forward Shean Donovan. The 65 Roses Gala brings supporters and donors together with one goal in mind - to breathe life into the future of young Canadians battling cystic fibrosis. This is accomplished through the advancement of health research into new therapies, the provision of specialized and quality clinical and transplant care and patient/family education and support programs. Spartacat appearances On Saturday, Feb. 6, Spartacat will visit the Loblaws (200 Earl Grey Drive, Kanata Centrum) from noon to 1 p.m. and will then be at Scotiabank Place from 1 p.m to 3 p.m on Sunday, Feb. 7, for Sens Skills presented by Metro. On Monday, Feb 8, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Spartacat will host Sparty's Learn to Skate at the Bell Sensplex. Spartacat will conclude the week on Wednesday, Feb. 10, by returning to Bell Sensplex for more Sparty's Learn to Skate, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
