Cranes frying over Chenonceaux, from the Earthflight movie. ©Copyright BBC Worldwide.[/caption] ** Canadian Museum of Nature (240 McLeod Street) Thursday, September 15, 7:00pm-9:00pm ** During the centennial of the Canada-US Migratory Bird Convention, join the Canadian Museum of Nature for the world première of Earthflight 3D, produced by BBC Earth and narrated by Cate Blanchett. 7 p.m. Aerial techniques and 3D photography will make you feel like you’re soaring alongside the birds!

After the 20-minute screening, catch a panel discussion with Bill Lishman, inventor, ultralight pilot and inspiration for the 1996 movie Fly Away Home; Alex MacDonald, Senior Conservation Manager at Nature Canada and weekly contributor to CBC Radio’s In Town and Out; and Judith Kennedy, Head of Migratory Bird Conservation of the Canadian Wildlife Service.
