Diana Jackson & Lea Hicks Exhibit

Grand opening of the Stairwell Gallery and vernissage: Sat. 18 April from 3 pm to 6 pm.

Ceramic sculptures by Diana Jackson and the abstract art of Leah Hicks.

Love, Handmade brings together 30+ local, independent, edgy, and innovative exhibitors,  who will provide alternatives to express your unique personalities and style. Whether you’re going for a totally off-beat wedding, intimate backyard wedding, or traditional affair with a touch of personality, we have something for you.

Admission $10 online / $15 at the door – swag bags for the first 100 couples through the door.



Westend Pottery Sale

Churchill Seniors Centre, 345 Richmond Road (at Churchill), Ottawa

The Westend Pottery Sale promotes excellence in ceramic art available in our community. All work is original, handcrafted by the (20+) makers.



6th Annual Arts & Scraps Flea Market

Overbrook Community Centre, 33 Quill Street, Ottawa.

April 11 (10 am to 3 pm)

A unique and fun way for artists, artisans and hobbyists to sell off surplus supplies such as wool, scrapbooking, buttons and pain supplies.

Free admission but art and craft supplies donations for the Overbrook Community Centre are welcomed.



The National Women’s Show

Shaw Centre (Ottawa Convention Centre), 55 Colonel By Drive, Ottawa.

April 11 (10 am to 6 pm) and 12 (10 am to 5 pm)

There’s something for everyone at this Ultimate Girl’s Day Out. The show is divided into the following zones: Fashion & Style, Beauty & Wellness, Travel & Adventure, World Of Taste, Business & Career, and House, Home & Design.

Admission: $14 at the door (discounted tickets available through the website)



Capital Pop Up! Spring Handmade Charity Show

Bronson Centre, 211 Bronson Ave, Ottawa

April 18 (10 am to 3 pm)

Connecting local charities, artisans and do-gooders, Capital Pop Up! Features handmade food artisans, potters, jewelers, tailors, soap chemists & more.  Kids’ activities and music by DJ Ryan.

Free admission but donations for CHEO will be collected.



Shop Local Showcase

North Grenville Municipal Centre, 288 County Road #44, Kemptville.

April 18 (9 am to 3 pm)

Discover what local Kemptville businesses and artisans have to offer during this community event. Enjoy food, wine and beer tastings, and enter a draw to win a trip for two to Las Vegas (must be over 21 to enter the draw).



Mom 2 Mom Spring Sale 

Carleton Place Arena, 75 Neelin Street, Carleton Place

April 18 (9 am to 1 pm)

50+ Tables of gently used children’s items.

Free admission but donations to the Food Bank are welcomed



Clarence-Rockland Expo

The Spring Edition of the Clarence-Rockland Expo showcases products, services and resources to inspire;  think one-stop shop to get all the services and products you are looking for!



Ottawa Vintage Clothing Show

Shaw Centre (Ottawa Convention Centre), 55 Colonel By Drive, Ottawa.

April 19 (10 am to 5 pm)

Shop like its 1969! Vintage and retro clothing, accessories, jewelry, vintage Chanel handbags, designer vintage and more!

Admission $10 (cash only!)



Capital Artisans Guild Spring Market

Sir Wilfrid Laurier High School,  1515 Tenth Line Road, Orleans.

April 25 and 26 (10 am to 4 pm)

Founded in 1982, the Capital Artisans Guild (formerly known as Cumberland Arts & Crafts Guild) began as a small gathering of like-minded Artisans who wanted to share their love for hand-made crafts, many one-of-a-kind. Since that time, the Guild has grown out of the Cumberland area just east of Ottawa to share their passion with artisans from Quebec and down to the Kingston area.

Free admission.



Navan Fine Arts Exhibition and Sale

Navan Curling Club, 1305 Fairgreen Ave, Navan

April 25 and 26 (10 am to 4 pm daily)

Art for indoors and out, wine samplings, books and more!

A Crafty QE Craft Fair

Queen Elizabeth School, 689 St. Laurent Blvd, Ottawa

First annual fundraising event featuring local crafters and entrepreneurs.

 “Vibrant!” – OVCC Artisans @ Archives

Library and Archives Canada, 395 Wellington Street, Ottawa.

April 25 and 26 (10 am to 4 pm)

The OVCC | Artisans @ the Archives launches Spring with a celebration of the work of some of the best artists and artisans from across Ottawa, the Valley and the Outaouais. Celebrating pottery, glass, jewellery, paintings & drawings, wood turning, gourmet foods, fashion & accessories, photography, furniture & decor, sculpting, body & beauty and more. Come and enjoy a unique melange of medieval, steampunk, geek and traditional arts and crafts!.

Admission $2



Ottawa Farmers’ Market

Aberdeen Pavilion, Lansdowne Park – every Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm.

Rene is the chair of the executive committee of the Ottawa Valley Crafts and Collectibles (OVCC) Guild. The OVCC organizes art & craft shows featuring local artists and artisans from the Ottawa Valley.
