Rant of the Day: Winter

I enjoyed this rant from the Incidental Cyclist about winter .  Although it’s written about winter cycling, I think it applies to everyone in Ottawa who bikes, walks, buses, or otherwise moves around outside.  A sample:

_ That's it, winter, you're cut off, adios, BUHbye now, don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out. Have a nice life. _

_ I'm sick of gritty rutted and uneven patches of ice at the side of the road, of potholes, of puddles of dirty, salty runoff that spray up onto my clothes... _
