Missing woman and her baby found safe

_ ** UPDATE: Police say Madeline Atagootak and her baby have been found safe. ** _ _ (Press release) _ (Ottawa) - The Ottawa Police Service is asking for public assistance to locate missing Madeline Atagootak, 20 years old, of Ottawa. Madeline is with her 5 week old son Elijah. Her family is concerned for her well-being and that of her child. Missing Madeline Atagootak

Madeline was reported missing on the evening of August 26th, 2016. She was last seen in the area of Somerset Street East around 12noon that day.

She is a described as an Aboriginal female, 5'2" (157 cm), 115lbs (52 kg) with brown hair past her shoulders. There is no clothing description available at this time (see picture of Madeline and her son)

If you know where Madeline and Elijah currently are, please immediately contact Ottawa Police Dispatch at 613-230-6211. If you have information that could assist investigators, but do not know where he is currently, please contact the Missing Persons Unit 613-236-1222, ext. 2355 between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, daily.
