Police release names of two people killed in Carp collision

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Collision Investigation Unit is asking for assistance from witnesses at the scene of the March Road double fatal collision on Sunday evening. Investigators also wish to speak to anyone who was present at scene prior to the collision and to members of the public who attended to the victims, prior to police arrival.

At the request of the family, the names of the victims are being released: Douglas Foster, 69 years old and Joan Foster, 66 years old, both of Renfrew, succumbed to their injuries.

The 24 year old male driver in the second vehicle remains in hospital with serious injuries, in stable condition.
