From a [ press release on OttawaStart ](http://www.ottawastart.com/story/14311.php) :
** PARK AND CYCLE IN CANADA'S CAPITAL REGION **
The National Capital Commission (NCC) is pleased to launch the Park and Cycle pilot project, which will run from June 20 to October 28, 2011. The public will have access to 10 parking lot facilities (360 spaces), where unrestricted access (6 am to 10 pm) will be provided weekly to cycling commuters.
The concept is simple: the public is encouraged to park their car at one of these parking lots and cycle the remaining distance to work. These parking lots, located between 5 and 15 kilometres from Parliament Hill, will make it more convenient to bike to and from work
