Today marks the launch of StittsvilleCentral.ca, a new online newspaper and information source from OttawaStart.com. OttawaStart’s “World Headquarters” is in Stittsville, and believe it or not there is quite a bit happening way out here in the west end.
Chef Michael Blackie just opened Next Restaurant on Hazeldean Road, Kathleen Edwards will soon be opening her own coffee shop on Stittsville Main Street, and there’s a craft brewer (Covered Bridge Brewing) in the industrial park on Iber Road.
Stittsville is a rapidly growing community. With 20,000 residents today, it’s expected to grow to 70,000 people within the next two decades. StittsvilleCentral.ca will cover the people and businesses who are driving this growth, and explore what effect this growth has on the community.
Have a look and let us know what you think.
