Introducing "Mr. Loaf", a new weekly comic by Andrew King

Today we’re really excited to launch a brand new comic on OttawaStart called _ Mr. Loaf _ . You can read the first episode today on OttawaStart’s home page. A new comic will be published every Monday morning.

It’s written by Ottawa artist Andrew King who decided to renew his comic skills after a 20-year hiatus from the drawing board. King originally produced a weekly comic for _ The Ottawa Citizen _ Sunday comics page from 1994 to 1997.  He also contributed a weekly comic strip called _ Grumps _ to OttawaStart in 2012.

_ Mr. Loaf _ re-visits the single panel comic format with a new skewed look at the world through a cartoonistʼs eyes. Inspired by the comics he grew up with and enjoyed, _ The Far Side _ by Gary Larson and _ Herman _ by Jim Unger, King hopes to share some of his warped comic insight on the world with a whole new audience.
