"Help homeless pets find love" - fundraiser at Global Pet Foods

Karla Briones, a good friend of OttawaStart and owner of Global Pet Foods stores in Kanata and Hintonburg , asked us to help spread the word about a fundraiser happening this week at her store.

They’re raising money for Hopeful Hearts , a non-profit dog rescue organization based in Ottawa.  The organization specializes in rescue and care of senior and special needs dogs – animals that are often turned down by other agencies because of higher vet costs and difficulty in finding adoptive homes.

Customers are being asked to donate $1 towards this great organization, and there’s a chance to win some good prizes too.  It’s all part of a larger fundraising project by the Global Pet Foods chain called Show Us Your Heart. Click here for more info…
