Are you looking for some dinner ideas this summer? We’ve discovered 7 of them for you all coordinated by Savour Ottawa.

Savour Ottawa is an initiative spearheaded by Ottawa Tourism , Just Food and the City of Ottawa (Markets Management & Rural Affairs Branches). Savour Ottawa is a membership-based initiative, aiming to highlight local farmers, and provide official recognition of local businesses’ (restaurants, retailers, microprocessors) commitment to using local food and supporting local farmers.

Savour Ottawa works to develop and promote Ottawa and area as a premier, year-round culinary destination, with robust offerings of local foods and experiences for both locals and visitors to the area.

Savour Ottawa Tables

For the next six weeks (July 15 and August 30, 2015), you can enjoy by visiting local restaurants or opt for take-home menus featuring special fixed-price menus using locally grown and raised food bought from a Savour Ottawa farmer or producer.

Harvest Table

On August 30, the finale will feature local chefs and farmers/producers coming together for the 5th annual Harvest Table at Lansdowne for a multi-course family-style luncheon.

VIP “ _ Cream of the Crop _ ” experience – $90 (includes local foodie experience with a guided tour of the Ottawa Farmers’ Market with C’est Bon Cooking with appetizers and cocktails to start the afternoon in style.
