We are excited to be celebrating International Single Parents Day in Ottawa again in 2017!
Join us for a day of Celebration, Education and Empowerment with single parents from Ottawa and surrounding area. Single Parents Day (March 21st) is a day that was created to honour single parents and all that they do for their children.
This year our Keynote Speaker Cynthia Bland of Voice Found will lead the day for our “Open Talk” with How Silence Kills. Additional speakers include;

Beck Hood – Around the Rainbow – Gender Diversity
Catherine Corey – Recovery Academy – Children/Youth Mental Health and Addiction

Kim McLeod – Grandma K – Parents Connecting with Kids in the Digital Age
There will be prizes and draws, giveaways and opportunities to meet some of the great resources we have here in the city. Planning is in full gear and we working on many fabulous surprises!
Creating Community that includes ongoing support, access to resources, events for parents and families and a place where being single moms or single dads can interact in a non-judgmental environment, is our mission! With the support of collaborative partners, resources and local businesses we are on our way to creating something unique.
