Maker Day at the Ottawa Tool LibraryDate/Time
Date(s) - Sunday, March 11
11:00 am - 5:00 pm
Ottawa Tool Library
Do you need work space to get your DIY projects done?
Maybe you don’t want to schlepp that big planer home or you just need to make a few cuts on a table saw. You can now do that on the 2nd Sunday of every second month at our tool library.
Borrow the tools you need on site, without even having to drag them home! And best of all, benefit from the expertise and tips of Tool Ninjas and other Ottawa makers who will be on site to help you out.
Makers will share a workbench, with a max. of two people per bench. Workbench space is limited and costs $5.00/hour, plus the rental cost for whatever power tools you borrow from the library throughout the day. To ensure your workspace and time slot(s), please book ahead of time right here.
Painting, staining, and activities resulting in fumes are not permitted at Makerspace North. If you don’t get finished during Maker Day, you can come back the following evening for Maker Night!
Access to workbench space is available to Ottawa Tool Librarymembers in good standing, and they will be asked to check in with their membership card upon arrival.
So, what will you build, refinish, repair, create, make?
