Father’s Day Flashback at Goulbourn Museum: Musket demos! Sword fights! Live Irish music!
Stand in the shoes of Goulbourn’s early Irish settlers at this celebration of Canada’s 150th Anniversary of Confederation. Connect with the culture of the community’s past with traditional Irish music, musket demos, sword fighting and historical reenactors.
Buy baked goods, bid on silent auction items, learn calligraphy and take home a photo keepsake from the 1867 photo booth. Explore the new heritage garden and nature walk and leave your mark for future generations by taking part in the Museum’s legacy 150th pathway.
Father’s Day Flashback takes place Sunday, June 18, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free and there will be crafts and games for children of all ages.
