Join CARP Ottawa on Wednesday, November 15 at Beechwood National Memorial Centre for a celebration of Canadian Champions and Heroes.

Featured speaker is Moses Znaimer, President of CARP and Founder of Zoomer Media. With the launch of his magazine ‘Zoomer’ Znaimer created Zoomers – Boomer’s with Zip. The magazine continues to be the largest paid circulation magazine for Canadians 45+. Znaimer has numerous degrees and continues to promote tolerance and multi-culturalism in the media.

Keynote Speakers are Dr. Peg Herbert, founder of Help Lesotho and home-town hero Todd Nicholson. Herbert has raised over $15M to provide aid and develop programs for orphans in Lesotho. Nicholson is a three-time Paralympic Medal winner and now serves as Chef de Mission for the Canadian Paralympic Team.

There’ll be numerous exhibitors with exciting travel destinations as well as important up-to-date health news. The Ewashko Singers, one of the city’s premiere choral groups, will be providing uplifting voices with your morning coffee.

Doors open at 8am. Speakers begin at 9am with opening remarks from Mayor Jim Watson. The event is FREE for CARP’s members.
