Polish Canadians Contribution to Canada

Commemorating Canada’s 150th Anniversary

The Oskar Halecki Institute in Canada (OHI) is presenting a Symposium on Polish Canadians Contribution to Canada: Commemorating Canada’s 150th Anniversary, October 27-28, 2017 at Saint Paul University, Ottawa (Amphitheatre – G1124) October 27, 2017, 6 pm – 9:30 pm and October 28, 2017, 9 am – 5 pm (Dinner at 6 pm)

The Symposium will feature eminent speakers from Canada, Poland and the U.S., who will present different examples of Polish Canadians’ contribution to Canada. Symposium topics include Contribution  of Polish Missionaries and Engineers, Canadian-Polish Military Cooperation, Cultural Aspects and Future of Polonia in Canada.

 

Symposium registration fee: $50; Students + Seniors: $30 (coffee and lunch included); Dinner: $60.
