Federal Election 2008
Canada's
40th General Election takes place on Tuesday, October 14, 2008,
with advance polling days on October 3, 4 and 6. From
now until the election, we'll be updating this page with voting information,
local candidate info, all-candidates meetings and debates, and more.
How and when can I vote?
- To find out what riding you're in, visit Elections
Canada and enter your postal code. You'll find out what riding
your're in, how to find out if you're on the list of voters, and where
you can cast your ballot. You can also call 1-800-463-6868 toll-free
in Canada and the United States for assistance.
- Polls will be open from 9:30am-9:30pm on October 14 in Ottawa. You
can also vote in advance on October 3, 4 and 6. Click
