Drive electric on Sparks Street

Plug’n Drive and the Ottawa Centre EcoDistrict are staging an electric car showcase and test drive in the Capital

Plug’n Drive, in partnership with the Ottawa Centre EcoDistrict, is hosting an electric car showcase and test drive in the heart of downtown Ottawa on Sparks Street. This is your opportunity to get behind the wheel of some of the latest electric car models on the market while discovering how much money you can save and how easy it is to go green by plugging into Ontario’s clean electricity grid.

WHEN: Thursday, August 13, 2015 – 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

WHAT: A public event to educate and inform visitors about how easy and affordable it is to own and operate an electric car in Ontario. Cars available to test drive include the BMW i3, Chevrolet VOLT, Ford C-Max Energi and Mitsubishi i-MiEV. A number of electric car owners will also be onsite to answer questions and talk about their experience as an electric car driver.
