Down Syndrome Association invites you to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day on Saturday

OTTAWA, ONTARIO.

The Down Syndrome Association, National Capital Region (DSA NCR) invites everyone in the city to celebrate

World Down Syndrome Day

on

March 21, 2015.

World Down Syndrome Day

is an annual opportunity to recognize and celebrate the contributions made by people with Down syndrome every day in our schools, communities, workplaces and families. World Down Syndrome Day is a great time for people to learn more about Down syndrome and help us advocate for equitable opportunities for people with Down syndrome.

The Down Syndrome Association - National Capital Region (DSA-NCR) is a volunteer-based charity that focuses on enhancing the quality of life for people with Down syndrome, and providing assistance to the family and friends of individuals with Down syndrome through the creation of a community support network.

This is a special year for the DSA-NCR because we are celebrating our 25th anniversary.  We have been helping people with Down Syndrome and their families in the Ottawa-Gatineau Region since 1990.
