DaniGirl’s list of 2010 Christmas parades in the Ottawa area

Ottawa blogger DaniGirl has published her 2010 list of Christmas Parades of Eastern Ontario. Her list has become an annual holiday tradition in Ottawa — like Christmas lights on Parliament Hill or watching the Nutcraker at the National Arts Centre.

  • The earliest parade this year is in Kanata, on November 13. The latest parade is in Carp on December 11.
  • The biggest parade is the Help Santa Toy Parade, which happens at night on November 20.
  • It looks like night time parades are growing in popularity — at least 12 parades start at 4:30pm or later by my count.
