Capital Urbanism Lab Event: Design of Urban Waterfronts


A discussion on the design and planning of urban waterfronts.

Tuesday, April 21, 7 pm to 8:30 pm

The National Capital Commission (NCC) is pleased to invite the public to a discussion about best practices in the design of urban waterfronts. Situated at the confluence of three rivers and the world-renowned Rideau Canal, the Capital features numerous shoreline opportunities. This evening will provide inspiration, as we continue to plan for a more accessible and vibrant waterfront in Canada’s Capital Region.

Chris Reed, Founding Principal, Stoss Landscape Urbanism, Boston, Massachusetts

The public will have the opportunity to address their comments and questions to the expert panel.
