Canadians watched an average of over 10 hours of online video in February, more than any other country in the world. That’s one of the stats released by comScore based on a survey of Canadian internet use. Some other highlights:
- 21 million Canadians watched 3.1 billion videos online in February. That’s an average of 147 videos per viewer.
- Google sites – including YouTube.com – accounted for 52% of all videos viewed.
- The next closest was Microsoft with 1.8% of the share.
- Nearly 88% of Canadian web users watched a video online in February, the highest of any country.
