This month, the City of Ottawa's Integrated Road Safety Program (IRSP), through its Selective Traffic Enforcement Program(STEP), is focusing its attention on motorists that violate school bus traffic controls and fail to stop for stop signs.

Small Trees Make Big Show at Japanese Embassy
The Japanese Embassy is hosting the Ottawa Bonsai Society's(OBS) Annual Show on September 6 and 7, 2008 in the auditorium of the Japanese Embassy, 255 Sussex Drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free. This year is the 80th Anniversary of Japan-Canada Diplomatic Relations. Around 40 trees of different species, sizes and styles will be on display.
