1942 colour film of Ottawa

David Reevely blogged about this video today - a 1942 “travelogue” about Ontario, including about 5 minutes of colour footage of Ottawa’s downtown. It’s pretty rare to see colour photos of Ottawa from this era, and even rarer still to see video.

“Glimpses of Ontario” Photographed in Technicolor by William Steiner. Music Score Supervised by Nat Finston. Produced and Narrated by James A. Fitzpatrick, “The Voice of the Globe”.
